Infrared thermometers can be used in food cooling applications ranging from candy manufacturing to ensuring the right temperature of frozen peas and baked goods. The infrared sensor does not have to come in contact with the food to provide an accurate temperature measurement, it does not interfere with the process or cause possible contamination.
